I got quoted £910.00 full comp with elephant, 25yr old male, with 4yrs ncd - price was for protected too:) only £60 more than I pay at the min  (exact same policy details, just changed the car)

Sorry about that:o I don't even like them on the 3 doors either, but I feel that they really date the fez tbh. Each to their own though.:)
When I was looking, I travelled miles to look at so called 'minters' up for...
I think for the r19's it was roughly what you said. A phase 2 r19 had the same wheels as a phase 2 16v clio (the 5 spoke's - speedline vega's)
Hope that helps.
Phase 1 clio is J reg to early L reg, late L reg are phase 2.
(There were however a few valvers on a H reg - but I believe they were imports/cup race cars)
If its a mk1 all you need to do is tighten the bolt up (the one on the inside of the roof) assuming that is where its leaking from, just get some one to hold on to the ariel while you do it (so that the ariel stays straight)
Getting wet when going round a corner is great fun - not !
For the best results keep it simple, set of 15's bit of lowering, if you have to get an exhaust for it, i'd say get a subtle one (not one that wakes every one up)
Pretty much what I was going to say - even the bit about missing mine sometimes:o
I think it would look better if it had a set of phase 2 alloys on it, plus if the gold bits were removed. Once thats done it look cool.:approve:
Nice looking frst (not keen on the 3 door cossie alloys though) I do prefer them with the later mirrors (as per your 1st one) I still think they look mint lowered on a set of escort gti alloys
Very hard to find a mint/near mint one:( (how bad do they rust around that filler cap:eek: )...
That plates real, it's a really old plate (before suffix & prefixes came out) That plate was in a mag I was reading the other day(possibly in the sunday times 'in gear' section) They also had POR 911, I believe they went for around 35k each (they were owned by two sisters)
The reg TUR80 used...
Saw it while I was waiting for the bus home at The Heathway, then when it pulled away the exhaust was blowing better than soome thai hooker ! ;)
Saw it about 7.30 tonight, nice car apart from that.
I live near Romford & if your cars as fast it your g tech says it is, i'd love to see it.
Also from your username (which I guess is your reg) i'll keep an eye out.
Try Highway based in Brentwood,Essex - they are the underwriters for loads of insurance companies.
I found them to be a bit cowboy when I was insured via them, but they were the cheapest.
Failing that get him to call up some of the one's in the back of magazines like Fast Car etc.
