the blokes asking a very valid question whether ben r is good at his job or not,the f4r engine is a strong unit but modifications will put added strain on the unit as a whole,but then what do i know i dig holes for a living
well a couple of lads on the saxo sport club have had leda's and had nothing but trouble with them i think there was a chap on here who'd got them on his porsche and they leaked etc
they probably do ride like £1200 suspension but like i say your average car enthusiast isnt gonna use them to there potential the h&r's are more than good enough for me especially when my mate works for motorsport tuning and he got me a set for £550
whats the point in shelling out £1200 for suspension on your everyday car your never going to use it to its full potential,i'm more than happy with my h&r's hillpower got the camber set up for me too so ive got the full potential out of them
i'd go ported inlet manifold ,moddified ecu,& custom exhaust even though i wouldnt expect much from the exhaust i had all my work done by hillpower he's got the mapping gear for the 172's he charges about £280,ive got h&r coilovers on mine witch are brilliant
Your best off ringing him and he'll run you through everything he's just brought new software for his rolling road where he will be able to record people cars on the RR and save it on a memory stick,he sells h&r coilovers now aswell had some on mine last month
i have all my work done by hillpower and i can assure you that nick wouldnt claim anything he couldnt prove,he's built some very quick cars a lot of them people dont know about cus there not on forums
couldnt agree more lunner since everyone has got the internet people wont ring up places.nick always answers the phone if you ring his workshop i know nick very well and he works till late every night and weekends which doesnt leave much time for replying to pm's
