Mmm, picked that font because it makes the 12 more like an R you see...
Wasn't expecting the font to be as big but it actually looks big because the plates small.
I like the border with the clio emblem, paid extra for that, ha ;)
Bit worried bout coppers so keeping standard one in the boot!
No I never knew til a few days ago when playing forza 4, then the next day literally there was one sat infront of me at a roundabout... Odd coincidence!
Just thrown up thinking of the evoque. Range rover should never have put its name to such a monstrosity. It should've been a land rover but they badge snobbery would hinder sales as a L/R.
New R/R is said to budge the 100k mark, up in Bentley territory, hoping to leave X5s/Tourags/Q5s in a lower...
Speaking of which, saw an X5M today, stunning and 510bhp! Very understated, just 4 exhausts and small vents in the wing to say its a bit different, oh, and 325 width tyres!!
Wanted to ask this but had already paid for mine from Renault and had it fitted, was worried someone would give me bad news in that I'd spent way more than needed too!!
Had the garage fit mine, charged £30, thought that was cheap at least?
I just got drivers side from Renault dealer for £151 for my 182.
Worked out couple quid cheaper than ktec, picked up locally whereas with ktec there is £30 surcharge which you only get back after posting your old one back to them which obviously costs a fair amount posting it back so ends up...
I have a piper system on mine, looks perfect size wise and isn't too loud but when you're pushing it you know it's not standard, sounds like a motorbike when flat out!
His premium would go up the same whether they claimed for damages or not, surely?
Not back on any band wagon, just talkin!
It's up to whoevers involved whether they want to claim or not for injury, if I'm totally honest I'm not sure whether it's a moral or social dilemma nowadays, i think though...
Cool, thanks for reply. Looked on eurocarparts, they charge £190 for q-drive which ive not heard particularly good things about... Can get 30% off at the moment, and £72 refund once exchanged old driveshaft, but still £90 for what may be cheap crap.
Reckon it's worth buying from ktec then?
Can...
Well no, that's where a moral problem occurs obviously.
Like I said, I've strayed a bit on this one, I guess I was quick to jump to his defence if he were to put in a claim as there are a lot of hypocrites that like to have a go at people but live by double standards.
You are right, it would be...
Yeah that's fair enough, I probably have strayed off course on this one. If he's in pain he should claim, definitely.
I suppose that's why you have 7yrs to claim from date of an accident, in case you have pain in future.
I claimed 5 or so years ago, was in pain at the time and have had pain...
I disagree, I reckon it's car accident related pain for which I was compensated, so no complaints from me.
This is like the people who complained that Olympic torch bearers were selling their torches, the only reason they moaned is because they didn't like someone else profiteering when they...
Whats Renault charge as an exchange? Ktec charge £147...
Have a 182 both cup packs need a drivers side driveshaft, seen some on eBay for as little as 50+10p&p new, 2yr guarantee. Are they going to be crap or what? Cheers
Fair enough bud, but if you suffer pain later on in life you'd probably wish you'd claimed...
I was in a smack, claimed at the time, did have back ache, neck pains and couldn't work for 4 weeks. Got paid out within a week, no lawyers involved etc, and now have back ache which I'm sure stem from...
Just got it back from another garage, they've said they can't see anything wrong except from grease coming out of inner cv joint on drivers side and have said to buy a whole new driveshaft.
Does this sound about right?
Is a whole driveshaft needed or just a cv joint?
Would/could this cause the...
I know mate but really would you want to be the 0.0001% that turns down 2grand upwards when the rest of society who are driven into get a quick buck? And to help out the insurance industry who've always charged more than they should regardless of what happens?
It's a given these days, if you're...
Back wheels were taken off and put on front to retain pirellis upfront (still had 5mm tread left). Had 2 part worn Bridgestones spare with 5mm tread so had them put on but they went on the back of the car.
So front tyres have not come off the rim and have never given trouble before, and not hit...
Civics? They've come down finally, can get a perfectly nice 53 plate with 100k and full history for less then 3k now, was offered a minter for 2.5k the other week but turned it down (girlfriend has one so can drive that if I fancy screaming the nuts off something).
Most valuable bit of a type r...
I don't know one person who wouldn't claim in the same circumstances. If nothing else it helps cover premiums which are already high due to claims.
You don't even know its fraud, most are paid out on the basis that the damage can show itself in years to come so insurance companies pay out now so...
Vtec crossover on an ep3 is far more violent than coming on cam in a Clio, imo.
My last 172 had a huge kick at 5k, it was standard bar an air filter.
My 182 has cat back exhaust and enclosed ram fed filter, the kick isn't so violent but the bottom end is a lot smoother and it has no flat spot...
