Looks great Dawny... As Colin says above.. another vote for standard wheels, in silver, and a subtle drop. Apex springs will be good enough for your style of driving. :)
PMSL...
Anyway.. mine does have Recaro's.. it did when you saw it.. lol It has Trendlines fitted. Not the best Recaro's available, but the closest to being OEM ;)
I used to yearn for that Moonlight Blue v6, but since I saw one at Mas du Clos the other year.. I think I'll stick with what I...
There were two identical Lunar cars for motor shows Colin. So far, its been impossible to find out which car the one above is. However, safe to say its either Keir's car or Keith's. :)
Sorry to hear that Steve..
Was the Acid in your ownership in the pic, or Peter Nicholson or AC Williams? I remember thinking at the time, the stripes spoilt the look of Carls car.. but each to their own eh! :)
Almost in agreement with you there Colin.. but for me, i'd have to swap your Liquid Yellow for Acid.. and always have a place for a Black Gold :)
That said.. if there were ever two signature colours for the v6 255, they without doubt be Illiad Blue and Liquid Yellow..
Haha.. yeah, that was the first thing I checked when he mentioned the number.. lol Its plausible! The guy seems genuine enough, and to make such bogus claims he'd need access to the register.
Re-listing..? He'll be rightly pee'd off wont he? Guessing he's right royally cheesed you off.
I remember this! FCS 2005/6? At Rockingham. I was there in my lowly Arctic 182, drooling over these, and the BG v6 that was there at the same time. Fortunately the stripes are a thing of the past....
Not seen that before! Excellent video :) Particularly enjoyed seeing some half a dozen or so Opel Kadett Coupe's taking part! Great cars, and very proud to be an ex owner or such a brilliant little car, back in the day :)
Thanks for posting!
Sorry to see your misfortune.. most of us have been there at some point though, just learn from the experience. It could have been worse etc etc..
I have a spare one here Michael. It's in Titanium, but you'd be looking at getting it painted any way I imagine.
Talk to me :)
Coming along very nicely Ryan. That roof was shocking, as you know.. but it's come up a treat, along with rest of the paint work. Not 'perfect' yet, but it's getting there, this was just the first round :) Realy quite excited at the thought of how this will end up looking after a couple of...
Welcome to Clio Sport Will, and congrats on your new purchase!
Personally, I think good ph1 172's will, in time, start to appreciate in value. If for no other reason, they are the first of the Renault Sport branded Clio's and so have an element of kudos linked to them. The start of all things...
Still as it was, as far as its appearance goes, as far as i'm aware. Sadly I dont have access to it, but when its back on the road i'll try and get some updated pics up. :)
+1
Nothing like this had ever been done to a Clio v6 at the time, a real first! As if a Clio v6 wasn't mad enough back then, Mike relentlessly developed THIS beast!
The car is still in existence, and complete, but off the road in storage.
