I quite like them in the photo shop, they do look different.
I guess the good thing is that if you decide after a while you don't like them (and want the phase 2's back) a set of ph 2's doesn't cost that much.

Just bought it (Ibuy it every month anyway) this months on has a guide on buying a 172 & 182.
It lists down when each model was introduced (from the first 172 to 182 trophy etc)
Includes what a 4k car will be like & an 8k car etc. Plus obviously what to look out for.
I expect many (like me)...
Looks alright, what clio was it originally ?? (I notice its not got rear pop out windows)
I like it apart from the wheels & rear lights. Also are the side repeaters in the skirts ??

I do know that turini's on a valver look the business. Tom16v (i think) has them on his blue valver.:approve:

I saw it myself the other week going in the opposite direction to me (i think it was your car) - its unlikely that there's two identical ones on the A127.
The cheaper ones on autotrader have been on there for months now.
tbh (as most have said you'd need around 12k for one thats remotely decent)
There is the other end of the scale as some garage wants 17k for a mk1 !!!
I owned my mint phase 2 for three years (from june 2002) until july last year.
In terms of running, in that time I had a new clutch, circa £250.00.
Had it serviced every 6k at about £80.00 per go.
