The rst was obviously no where near standard then ! if it was you would have p*ssed on it (imo they arent that fast at all - as standard, you have to remember as well that the latest ones are 1990 so they will 15 years old now) so unless it has been properly mainted most run like a sack of sh*t...

tyre gel (you spray it into the valve if you get a puncture) me personally id keep the spare wheel.

they will look like phase 2 valver alloys (obviously they are 1 inch bigger,as valver alloys are 15s) the centre caps have an indented circle on them.

iirc they do fit straight on, but i think that the clips are different. im not 100% sure though.

We cant say if it will be or not (well i for one cant) as to be honest it could be a dog ! Just because the seller claims its in excellent condition doesnt mean that it is. I have seen plenty of cars described as excellent or mint when i have got there i have been annoyed that they have lied to...

there were a few cups in silver (only a few hundred though) the a/c was an option. iirc it cost around £700.00. there are about 4 silver cups on here.

You can have the tyres posted to you, then you can take them to be fitted at a garage. (you will prob have to take the bill with ya though,to prove that they are new,as some places are funny about fitting tyres that they didnt supply)

I dont understand how come so many of you have problems with your 172s my dad has one (a 52reg) the only thing that has ever gone wrong was the sat nav, but its all sorted now. (finds a bit of wood to touch, now ive said that)

mk2 fiesta 1.1 ghia - which i wrote off after two weeks on the road, it was only then i realised what a heap id bought ! only cost £600 though.
