Just a few pictures from today, was a good day, some very quick cars. For those who dont know its basically sprint along a quarter mile of Brightons famous Madiera Drive.

A few pictures from this evening after I spent some time waxing it and taking nearly all the stickers off. They were taken mainly for the adverts, but got a couple of reasonable ones.

After the boot catch worked its way loose on the Autobahn a couple of weeks back Ive been driving round with rachet straps holding the boot down for 14 days.
Anyway this morning the car went in, still covered in flies (thousands) and owned stickers, with all the trim missing from the boot...

So as some people know already the Clio is going in the summer, time to move on and try and buy a house. There are a few things planned before she goes, but come July...well...itll be a sad day!

Car in is for a service this morning but got tallking to the guy behind the desk. As well as having a stand in the service reception now selling Remus exhausts he said shortly they were going to be offering Superchips.

How hard is this to do? I assume I can go and buy some standard looking wire and extend the cd changer cable? The cable that came with the changer I bought is for the one that goes under the seat, not the one to the boot, so I need to extend it.
Going to have a go at it this evening.

I have narrowed the choice down to 2, as they both seem good value to me, though ill admit I havent a clue which one is better than the other. Im prepared to pay a bit more if it means ill get a noticably better receiver.

Y was the change-over year wasnt it, maybe its a parts bin special. Maybe its just dodgy, it was a Cat D.
I dropped the car off this morning at the garage under the premise that if I left the car with them all day they might be able to fix it. (Discovered the 15 month old cat had a huge crack in it and i have a trackday tomorrow..)
After going in at 4pm yesterday and telling them what was broken...
What sort of spec pda would i need to run satnav?
Is the ipaq the best solution, or would a Sony one be better. Gonna try and do it for as little money as possible so im not interested in buying the top of the range ipaq, just need a spec thats suitable and up to the task!

This morning my steering wheel has decided it doesnt want to be in one piece any more bless it.
More interior trim to be replaced!!
Might just try superglue as I cant be doing with the Renault dealer network this year.
