currently ive only removed the lower cold air feed (the upper one is in place still) the standard airbox and the 90 degree Standard bend.
Will i have removed the valve in those bits?

Got my renewal letter through today (after expecting and budgeting for it in June-lol), any way they quoted me £795.95 for the years renewal.
23 years old, Cup 172, 5 yrs NCB, 12 k a year, But i do have a 3rd party hit my vehicle claim out standing from 3yrs ago, that is still being faffed...
Took all the standard airbox out and all pipes etc. Offered up the cda and have found a couple of problems, can anybody who has fitted one to a mk2 172/cup help me with a couple of points:
a) I cant get the standard pipe from the tb ( air intake pipe) to fit on the cda, well it fits, but i...

Ive heard rumours that the CDA is up with the Maxogen, as the Maxogen may never happen for the 172/CUP, is the CDA the safest bet or shall I:
a) get a viper
b) bodge a MG ZR Maxogen
c) Get the CDA
d) leave as is
What are your opinions on each filter.

Got to see a Reanult mechanic who knew what a 172 was! Unbelievable. I have wrong:

Im planning to fit my Sony tomorrow morning as my autochanger has arrived.
My query is that the wire for the changer is a Bus? wire that obviously plugs to the back of the headunit, however i need that bus port for the connects2 box i assume?!!!?

Have put the Dynamique 15 inch wheels on the cup, and although the fronts went on fine, the back wheels probably only have about 4mm clearence between the spokes and the caliper.
Is this a reasonable gap? Or should i look to get some spacers fitted to give a bit more of a gap?

OK, The remote key will not unlock the car, then when you manually get in and turn the key in the ignition the starter motor whirls but the engine doesnt start, it just clicks.
This has happened before aparently and the spare key solved the problem, though this time...
Local garage want £364.50 +vat for it for a colleague!!!
What is involved to justify such a cost? As his warrenty runs out in Jan thinks hes off to a local garage instead.
Ordered my Silver vision bulbs from powerbulbs.com yesterday at 4:30 pm. Theyve arrived this morning in the post! And you get the free sidelight bulbs. All for £14.95.

1) whats the fitmet, H4, H7....
2) Do you recommend, Phillips Blue Vision, or Phillips Vision Plus?
