Think that's a bit harsh, some are pretty decent and do a cracking job. Sadly, this guy isn't one of them and lied through his back teeth to get a sale.
I think the best thing for all involved is for Rebecca to get the r27 back and pretend this sorry affair ever took place. For Adam the salesmanship sake, I hope he either finds that book pronto in the morning, or has tickets to somewhere far away booked for 10:01am.
As Ali says, you are paying for peace of mind and the knowledge you are fully covered should anything happen, as well as getting to drive a cracking car. Can't put a price on that!
