any suggestions regarding clutches for a 182 that’s used on the road and track. Car will be getting a black line diff fitted. Any first hand recommendations welcomed. Leaning towards the Sachs Performance Kit 🤦🏽‍♂️😭 Interested also in LUK experiences of getting tracked with moderate vigour...

Old school touring cars were so much better imo. Better cars. Better drivers. Better racing. So much to choose from. Super tourers. Group A etc. Amazeballs

My bank account doesn’t enjoy this. My background is racing though, and I’ve spent too much time over the years re fixing other peoples bodge jobs and half jobs. Nothing worse than getting to track and spending all that money and then having a mechanical that, within reason, could be avoided x

Thanks for the nice comments mate. I’m sourcing a second box hopefully from @Udder Nonce , will be sending it to Mark @NorthloopCup to check over and refresh where necessary. Plan is to replace anything on the second box that is even remotely worn and do the seals and syncro’s etc for peace...

And some people I know think it’s weird that I won’t track the Vantage….. 😂 At this point, I’m potentially even starting to enjoy the deep and thorough rifling I am receiving.

They’re seriously trick bits of kit. You can see how the budgets got so ridiculous when you look around them.

Pat still has one or two of them. Been borrowing bits from him here and there 😂 Inc a steering rack that decided to snap spontaneously over the weekend. A lot of them end up in New Zealand which some may find odd. I know I did.

On a different note After my gearbox spilt its gutts, the Marshalls told me I was just about to be black flagged for noise 8db over apparently …. Silencers have moved so hoping it’s just a leak
