Had the bias valve/compensator replaced on mine along with all the rear brake lines etc. mine was also properly corroded and doing nothing, car was off the road at the time so made sense to do all the work together. Doesn't help as the rear brakes aren't doing a lot anyway even with a fully...

Milestone reached in the cup a week or so ago Which means 4k in 7 months which is not bad going considering I don't really need a car 😂

2nd person who is running this setup :up: will give it a whirl and see what it's like, anyone else?

I don't know you @SharkyUK but have been following this thread along with everyone else and looking forward to seeing the car being used as it's supposed to be and as hard as it would be to do the above this is what I would be doing, I know how hard that would be but sometimes you have to know...

Sounds good, that's why I asked as I thought it would open up centre exit etc. with the flat boot floor and the shortened bumper, look forward to seeing it :up:

I wanted to try a silenced centre as mine was unsilenced which wasn't helping but I never managed to find one second hand, making one up would work though, could the exhaust place that did the back box for you help?

The drone was the reason I got rid of the KTEC, I thought I was just getting old but it was awful :smile:

I would recommend the PMS to anyone, it's a great exhaust and fit's perfectly, if you can get over the cost of them :smile: they don't seem to come up that often 2nd hand either. Are you on the 172 manifold still? It did make quite a difference on the PMS with the 182 manifold, I was surprised

I ditched my KTEC on my original Ph1 as it was terrible on the motorway, the drone gave me a headache 😂 I would say on my cup I have a 182 manifold with decat and silenced PMS exhaust and the 182 manifold made it considerably louder, it doesn't drone and is still quieter than the KTEC...

Question for anyone who has Spax RSX coilovers, what do you have the damping set for road and track use? I have them on my cup but don't seem to be able to get the setup just right so thought I would ask I know it's a personal preference kind of thing but would be interested to see what kind of...

172 Cup Bought a Ph1 airbox for the cup a month or so ago and didn't fit it then saw the Renault 21 Turbo airbox on eBay and thought I could make a V6/Espace style airbox with a bit of both of them plus an ITG foam filter that came with the Ph1 when I bought it :smile: missed out on the 21 box...

Hope so, the plan is to keep it for the long term, I do think they will go up in value but it doesn't matter if it doesn't just wanted another Ph1 :smile:

The photos came out well considering they are off a phone :smile: I love the interior it will stay exactly as it is including tape deck, I might do something with the steering wheel but would be an OEM steering wheel re-trimmed nothing aftermarket

That sounds just like the cup, we lost our family car so the cup has been doing daily duties, it's not pretty at the moment :smile:

Not posted in here for a while and grabbed some pics earlier of the Ph1, was dirty but was out for a drive, first time it's been out for a couple of weeks, I washed it before it went back in the garage :smile:

Struggled to find pics with Williams wheels on a cup or Ph2 but just fancied a change, nearly went with a grey/anthracite but silver was my first idea so stuck with it :up:

Not sure I like this Steve :smile: no way you could tuck it away somewhere and mothball it for a bit?
