Yep worked at all speeds, will keep a note and let you know once it's off the car and how much it will be etc.

I agree, unfortunately I am not invested in this car having not long ago bought it, if it had survived this MOT and cropped up on the next I don't think I would be breaking it. Also this one has some issues with service history and needs other bit's doing over and above the MOT if it was a rare...

I do think eventually they will rise in price, especially with the rate they are being broken, the good ones will be saved, hopefully I will get one again before they do :up:

I know what my wife would say 😂 they were banded steels off a VW so I think they might be the T5 steels... possibly :up:

No problems, I think if you have a garage to stick it in and you can have it off the road, like you say might as well keep it, they are getting rarer so who knows they might go up in value eventually! Would love another one!

I think so, have to get a new family car as well so that will probably come first and then organise another Clio once this one is all broken and organised :up: That's the plan at the minute anyway :smile:

Cars normally go up in value once I don't have them anymore :smile: happened with the V6 and the M3, so everyone should be out buying Ph1's now 😂

If I had owned it longer it wouldn't be happening, if it could have just waited till next MOT before it failed :-) I will be looking for something to replace it with soon

Unfortunately knowing what else needs doing and the fact that the service history is pretty non existent I don't think it's getting fixed, it's a shame but I don't think it makes much sense

Yep not good! It's No.4 really that I think will tip it over the edge, No.6 I already knew about as already have a replacement washer pump and the others aren't that major but it's the cumulative effect unfortunately

I don't think this restoration is going to have a happy ending!!!
