Could be one of the mixer motors on the airbox?? The little motors that move the flaps to change the air direction. Pretty common fault, I used to work for Renault and we used to change a fair few on various cars.
Not usually a huge job, but saying that I'm not sure how difficult it is to change on your car mate. Wont be long until someone who's done the job will see this thread and reply :up:
Sorry for your loss mate, My dad passed when i was 13 and he had and old BSA Bantam that he'd had since he was a kid and by the time i was old enough to restore/ride it my grandfather had sold it to an enthusiast who was going to restore it. It bummed me out big time but understood why he parted...
