Have to say. I'm not a bmw car fan. However the new models do look pretty nice.
Ran in to one in that lovely blue colour (convertible) when I was out on my bike on Friday. Had a little play. Not sure if it was a 3 or 4. Didn't get much of a chance to look as I dropped mine a gear. Got a wave...
All sorted. After a number of emails and phone calls the bikes are allowed on the campsite. Finally got them to swap two car tickets for two bikes and will be parking the cars in a car park instead.
I'm trying to find out whether this b&b has proper secure parking or just a gated drive way. My sister who is helping organising is a penis and doesn't realise how easy bikes are to nick! She just thinks we should leave them on a path in the centre of lemans lol
The people we are dealing with won't back down despite explaining to them. But we have spoken with a great local b&b owner who has offered to keep our bikes in his secure barn for free ☺
Long way to go if there's an issue though. They've emailed my brother in law stating they don't allow motorcycle but perhaps you're on to something mate.
I'll get on to them as and when I can.
Epinettes I believe it's called?
Beyond pissed off with them mate. But there's no reasoning with the french it would seem. Haven't given up but it's looking bleak.
The likely hood of us going to lemans now or at least me and my fellow biker of the group is looking slim. The organisers of our campsite emailed yesterday stating we are not allowed our bikes on the campsite despite having purchased tickets etc.
Really pissed off however if it comes to it we...
Sounds like bull
Legally they can't touch the mileometre even if they wanted to as I understand it. Unless they've ballsed something up a treat I can't see how they've managed that.
From what I've seen there's a few people who can get the akra. .
For me I don't see the value in the system, yes it's an akra so it'll be made well and sound great but for the money not for me
Hard to describe in words but I see a gtr as the same as watching f1 on TV.
Yeah you see it all but you don't get the whole "experience". If you know what I mean.
At least you can say you've done it aye.
I've never got the whole gtr thing. For much the same reasons as others have mentioned.
Part of the reason I love my bikes is because they're involving and it's actually me riding it etc.
Either way they're an engineering master piece for sure.
If you really want a 197/200 then both are fairly even.
For me personally though, as a track car only I'd get a 172/182 (most likely 172 Cup).
More money to spend on track trinkets.
