I'd struggle to get anything much more than 30mpg driving like miss daisy... Most of the time it'd sit around 26mpg Pretty bad on today's standards especially for the turbo engines.

It's not hate. They are good fun cars. I think there's an element of resentment as they're pretty crap on fuel for the performance and the gearboxes are known to crumble (although mine never did in over 20k). Great chassis though and a lot of fun.

Yep clio boxes are ok until you try and get a move on. They don't like being rushed. And are made out of papier mache.

Not the 208 gti. Corsa in my honest opinion is a skip. Golf gti is a very different car. Never driven one but the fiesta seems to be popular.

+1. Looks like something is rubbing. What make are the tyres? They don't look like they got "that hot" for them to de laminate. (have seen that before with sh*t tyres or defective ones).

I'd say so. Owned a 200 for some time and brother in law had a 172 cup which I drove a fair bit.

Depends what you want from it. If it's a daily I'd take the 200. If it's for track only 1*2 IMO.

If it's a bearing, it won't last long mate. I'd say it likely is to be honest and I've sh*gged many a box on track before. Familiar sound. New box time.
