They should be recalled imo. Owners shouldn't be expected to maintain the bonnet realease catch, thats rediculous. You have to remember that 99.9% of Clio owners aren't car enthusiasts.

No, the black tubing is their attempt at a cold air feed. It isn't great! Use the current 90 degree pipework bend to attach the CDA to the engine. It won't be a great fit, so most people bought the "Hillpower bend". A decent bit of cold air feed tubing is available for greenfilters.co/.co.uk...

I take his point about respraying the whole bonnet, it would look better than lots of repairs. I'd say £60 - 80 for a decent repair on that chip though

Why would you want to transplant the Puma engine? Aren't they only 126 bhp and 1.7? Surely there are better options? Does the Duratec go in!
