It's usually quite sticky I've found. Probably some sort of machinists grease. A wipe over with acf will suffice.

I think that's the problem anyway. But yeah, to do anything with the actual abs or airbags you'll need the modules. This is mine.

That shouldn't stop him connecting to the Mégane ECU though.

As far as I know you can use them on any car as an OBD diagnostic tool, not just Renaults. In your modules list, what does it say?

Yeah pretty much the same as having a Mégane crank pulley which is keyed.

There does actually seem to be quite a few rules in the NPK. They make it look like a free for all, anything goes on TV lol.

Oh that one! Yeah it was 156mm. He did it for NPK because of weight rules, apparently if he stayed with twins he needed to add 300lbs and Birdman 500lbs! So a massive single running big boost he got to stay the same weight.

Change of oil won't be a bad thing. Worth having a look at the linkage, there may be a bit of play somewhere. The nylon bush insert can cause a bit of play when worn.

Quite common with rust build up and when the pinch bolt hasn't been done up correctly, there will be play/movement which wears the hole out.

Pretty tight yeah, interface fit pretty much.
