Car does this every morning.
During this 10 second clip, it does it twice. A 'beep' noise coming from under the bonnet.
Any ideas?

Love mine mate but it is a bit of a go-kart. Not in the sense of it being light and nippy but in the sense that it's good fun until it breaks down every 5 minutes and needs work.
Afaik, you need to be a member to have a custom avatar.
Well worth the £12. So much more forum access, a welcome pack and some discounts with renault, insurers, body shops etc.
Welcome to the forum mate.
Will bear that in mind mate, I've got more sockets than I know what to do with but will definitely make sure I've got the right size.
Cheers mate, whatever day you prefer out of the two. Both are perfect for me. I finish work at 4PM on Friday but can of course leave whenever I want unless you...
Tbh, I'm not sure on tools needed. I can get sockets to fit all bolts etc, have a torque wrench.
My brakes are in dire need, I'm getting the dreaded grind now 😧
May have to take it somewhere if you aren't available for two weeks but I really do appreciate the offer and there is still a...
Really appreciate that mate! Will of course supply you with some beers! I should be able to get a socket big enough! Proper nice of you! Where abouts are you located?
Ah, that is an option I suppose! I think I'm going to try with a hammer and punch first to break the collar off and then do as normal. Been so busy this weekend I still haven't had a chance to do it :(
If I wanted to achieve something like this (the flag colours on grille) then what paint should I use?
Doesn't really needed to be sanded down or anything first does it?
Cheers
Just googled it, looks a similar concept to WordForward.
Download that, guarantee you'll get hooked.
Think I'm on like level 56 or something where its nye on impossible.
Has this ever been in an accident? I can't help but notice, although it's probably just the light, drivers door looks to be a different shade?
I'd colour code side strips mate.
Yep mate, still using the standard 18-55mm lense that came with it. Pretty awesome lense as far as my knowledge takes me. Not worth upgrading at such an early stage etc.
Cheers guys. Appreciated.
Struggling to get the locking nuts off at the moment. Lost the key. Using a snap-on impact gun and the reverse thread halfords sockets. I know these have a collar on so what's the best method to get the collars off/locking nuts off?
On my mk2 I had it down the passenger side a-pillar and through glove box but on my 197 I have it down drivers side a-pillar, under steering block and then in to back of HU.
Saying that, mine wasn't about the reading light, mine is just at the top of the a-pillar.
Basically, not really clued up in any of this at-all (but you don't learn unless you try), how hard a job is it to change discs/pads/rear hub nuts all round on a Clio 197?
What tools will be needed?
Cheers
What?
We need more details than that mate.
When were the other 2 197's belts done? What colours are they all? Do any have climate control? Do any have the recaros? etcetc.
What are their service historys like?
Have you checked the gearboxes?
Stick all 3 links up here.
Your first point of call would be to take it to the shop that did it, ask them to check it over and make sure it's all connected up or ask a friend who is comfortable taking it to bits and checking for you. If it's f*cked then I'd just replace the hard drive, they're very easy to install so I'd...
1) No boot device would mean hard drive isn't being read/failed. Operating system is stored on hard drive and is default boot.
2) I'd be surprised if it was them especially after the pint of squash went over it - they could have not clicked the master wires in correctly but that would be one...
