Immobiliser mate.
Mine was doing this - by the ashtray you should have an indoor central locking switch. Hold it down in the "lock" position until the immobiliser stays a solid red, then when it is solid, unlock it with your key fob.
This worked for me.
Nah, the MPG doesn't warrant the performance at all - for the amount of fuel I go through I'd want to be able to do 0-60 in under 2 seconds. ;)
A standard 197 and a standard 182.. the 1*2's are always going to be quicker on acceleration because the 197's are quite heavy but as soon as the pace...
Personally I prefer the 197! The 182 is more of a go-kart car so good to nip about places in imo but the 197 has more comfort and power.
You will suffer with the dreaded MPG issue though.
Think I'm currently on average 23MPG and I don't drive too bad to be honest.
Hi,
Flexi's on the 197 have gone - I'm looking to just buy a Toyosport manifold to replace. Has anyone used one of these before - feedback?
What would be the best way to drop the old manifold out? Subframe etc out or engine out?
Also, the standard 197 has 2 cats where as the toyosport only...

Any chance the thief could be the 'buyer' and you've said something along the lines of this to them;
'Sure, my address is ******, I'll be home from work at 7 so feel free to pick up any time after that'?
Hi mate, nice 197!
Regarding your manifold.
If you dont mind me asking, what did you pay for the toyosport?
Was it just a straight swap?
Did you do it or pay someone else to do it?
Thanks,
Lee
Hi guys,
Basically got given a pretty decent condition S4 for a part exchange for a car I had.
I'm looking to sell this phone now as I am an Apple fanboy and have no use for it.
I've 'tested' it as much as I can, the only thing I haven't checked is that it's all working with a simcard in.
As...
I've had my check injector lights appear a couple of times, normally when I've given it too much juice too quickly. Turning the engine off and on sorted that though.
Spoke to a welder today, he's told me £300 labour to have the manifold off and £150 to weld new flexis on.
Do I buy a second hand full system (manifold, flexis, cat) for £225 and then the £300 labour, go with the option above or buy an aftermarket?
What would you do?
