    They do require a tap as the inside of the mount is tapered.

    The square holes on the tensioners are pretty weak, seen loads crack. The 100mm jubilee clip works well.

    You'll be fine with IPA, just don't use 100% strength stuff just to be safe.

    Could try a 2nd hand coilpack and see if it works. The 3 basic things you need is fuel, spark and compression. Need to see which one it's losing.

    Anything with a red wire is +12v before ignition. Yellow is +12v after ignition. i.e. ignition live.
