Awful jack! Pre-owning a trolley jack the plastic that the windy handle fits into snapped on mine... with the car up in the air :S
Had to get a neighbours jack to free it and lower the car!
Spot on. Most of the cups above are worth £4k if you want them to sell, no matter how mint they are.
I had to drop the price of mine right down to sell it, and condition wise it was like new!
From memory yours was a mk1, not a mk2 wasnt it mark?
Heard my car with a mk2 stealth fitted from the outside earlier this week, didnt realise how loud they sound from the outside!
Glaring error? Where did i mention mk3 clio's, times or 0-60 sprints?
Two mk2 ph2 clio's, a 1.2 16v and a 1.4 16v, in the real world below motorway speeds and around town there is sod all in it. I had one, my mate had the other as young lads, nearly new.
So no, 1.4 clio's are not 'loads'...
Correct. Im guessing by chassis they meant suspension.
The spoilers pack is easy enough to change if you buy one without (just front splitter and rear spoiler) but the suspension is a nightmare due to diff bolt spacing etc etc.
Some people like it, some people dont.
Some people drive better with it, some people dont.
Two sides to the coins, personal opinion really, neither side is wrong :)
Im guessing if he's tried bending it he can see it sat on the exhaust Juan.
New heatshield is best fix, has it sheared away at one of the bolts and dropped?
In the bulbs? The box says something like 50% brighter and its not wrong.
They look white in reflection too, rather than the standard yellowish colour.
Stick with the cup. Get some leather seats from a 172 ff ;) , or a 182, and whack some halfords super brilliance headlight bulbs (these are like night and day from standard bulbs!)
In fact, perfect 172 would be a cup with cc, h&r's, a set of trophy recaros and said bulbs.
Guessing the 182 will be a newer car and will cost more... your answer lies there really.
Id go for the 182 if you have the option, but you need to justify to yourself if its worth the extra money. Id say it is... but its your money :)
Ah looks ace mate, suits the rally car.
Guessing with the amount of spoilers etc fitted to wrc cars it'd make a difference, just wasnt sure how much! Have you noticed it?
