you wont get a caterham for 5k, you start to get into the early westfield teritory.
However if you wanted you could build a reasonable Locost for 3/4k, and a good one for 6.
The alternative is a Tiger, another seven replica, their new model, called the Avon i think could be build for around...
For 4k you can almost have a decent 7 replica for trackdays, i.e. you wouldnt need to get it registered. Youd have to build it though!!
I can guarantee itll be more fun than a Williams at a trackday.
Best you do a search.
Mine is in having problem 1 sorted today, and ive just found out that its having the problem sorted tomorrow as well..............
gotta love the 1.2 8v curtesy cars though!
im removing the brake pedal to save weight.
When ktec release theirs, then mine will be for sale. Obviously at that time im open to offers. Ill stick it on the forsale board when that date arrives.
It depends if you want to go replacement element or induction kit way.
For an element then go for the itg or the green filter.
If you want to go induction kit way then yes a viper ( i wouldnt call it the daddy lol) or a BMC CDA.
The creaking is common, and the dealer will fix.
Do a search on the suspension problems affecting the 172.
I would be slightly concerned about the gearbox if it was to continue for much longer.
Wouldnt get your hopes up to much, theyve been delaying the mk2 one for the 172/cup for ages. And i really wanted one.
Have decided now to go for a CDA in the meantime, with some extra bits made up.
Im aware it still wont quite match the Maxogen, but will the Maxogen ever arrive...
The gtt turbo to air filter pipe has two bends in it.
