Ok mine is now 7 months old.
It rattles to buggery
I have had:
2 new rear shocks
2 new front lower wishbones and Front strut tops cut and remounted.
Its been in twice for rattles (and i mean rattles, not stupid clicking rattles) One they have sorted, one they havent.
Apart from these...
my figures are from my trusty casio:
speedo gets to 60
hand comes off steering wheel
fumbles for stop button
presses a short time after.
Now thats accurate timing for only £9.99.
4 people in the car at a steady average of say 85 mph would be working the thing quite hard, 33.5 sounds about right for the situation.
BTW my 1.4 16v i had did !26 (indicated) on the limiter in top.
Press cars are standard nowadays.
There not souped up, its not worth it.
6.3 to 60mph is entirely reasonable due to traction control, increased tyre size. And a tester thats done it thousands of times!
I owned a 1.4 16v and a 1.5 dci.
Go and have a go in the DCi, youll be very impressed. And 65mpg is also a plus point.
The 1.4 was noticeably quicker than the 1.2 16v, after all there is 23 more hp.
If your Mum/Dads budget could stretch, IMO the 85bhp Diesel is the one to get.
Yes but this is the point.
I just specced a MCS up with what i considered reasonable options and it came to £22.5k!!
This means we are talking 9 grand more than you can get a 182 for.
All for a German imitation of a British car. They are far to common, to the point where I no longer think...
