    Mark, to be legal "technically" they need the plate makers name / postcode and BS45 mark on them. This can be in tiny font at the bottom, but it should be there. Got some from eBay. Turned out perfect.

    Have a look also at btb, piper and janspeed. The rs192 is quiet but I found it droned at motorway speeds. On the contrary my current yozza is loud but doesn't drone at all.

    Fair enough. Just wondered if it was a direct comparison. I always found my gf's mk2.5 1.8 quite slow, but never completely breathless. Like you say, low down and playful but never going to set the world alight.
