You won't regret it! Its autofocus is brilliant! I upgraded from a 20D and i couldnt go back to anything other than another 1D tbh!
What ISO are you using for the indoor stuff? I find mine suffers above 1000.
I prefer it with the silencer on :/. Found im doing alot better with it, scavenger pro is a must though with the ammount of ammo needed to kill someone is shocking!
Not really, no. Some bridge cameras will produce brilliant results I have a friend who uses a fujifilm with 12x optical zoom and he can get some very detailed photos although I Can still see an edge of the DSLR + lenses vs bridge camera with one lens.
Also prime lenses help towards the quality...
I've been looking at this, I need an external HD to store my photos on (about 15k!! lol)

Seems like a decent enough one for the money!
Edit: would work with the mac too!
I've dug out some older shots and decided to process them, im quite pleased i didnt just bin these!
This one was quite noisey which is a shame, ISO:1250
This has only been reported in the country three times this year so i was pleased to be one of the few to get a photo of it.
And...
Looks good mate! I'll keep an eye out for this on the road when it's sorted! If ya need any pics of it lemme know! ;)
I've got the same model clio sittin on me drive with a busted engine, full sport interior, carbon bonnet etc etc if you need owt! ;)
Mebbes if there is a canon in there... nikon may burn my skin! ;)
I know what you mean about the attitude on this section of the forum! No complaints!!
The perks thing isnt bad in my eyes at all, its smart. If it works and you win - objective completed tbh! whats that sayin? Adapt and overcome.
The "glitches" can be fun but should be contained to private matches imo!
LOL!! Thats awesome, Im no snob either, but £130 for so little taken with an entry level camera is shocking!! I bet it had a kit lens on too + pop up flash?
I get a few people round here using "Bridge cameras" who sit there and rhyme off why their camera is better than mine, and i never bite...
How exactly do you play a game like this properly?
Im pretty sure if it was real life and i had the choice of "Noob tubing" and killing everyone coming for me or risk taking a shot and missing.. id go for option A everytime.
Congrats!! Brilliant photos too! I love the colours on the nikons tbh, the matrix options seem to be alot better than canons!
and lmao @ "high level camera" camera phones are better than the D40!
Finaly decided to enter prestige tonight.. managed to get my best knife throwin kills so far...

:D Headshot!
It's alright until its over done, the colours being way off and it looks like a cartoon rather than a photo! but for shots like that or anything old + rusty it works a treat for detail.
You can get a plugin that will do it in photoshop for you but the best way to do it would be take 5 exposures of it, from -2 through to +2 and use photomatix to merge them, or photoshops version!
A quick attempt..
Thanks!
I know it's a touchy topic in photography but have you tried applying a bit if HDR to that image? Rusty photos look awesome with HDR. Theres even a group for it on Flickr lol
