In the new year mate, yes :) Toyed with a mk3 but for now I'm set on an RB 182 or possibly ph1 (11 year old shed reliability might be an issue now though). Need rid of the VX first and I've just passed up on buying the most epic spec'd 130i ever... My sensible head reigned and decided cheap...
Never tried but I'd imagine yes... I've had 8 wheels/tyres and countless trips to Ikea with bigger bits than those (not at the same time). I'd imagine it will just take some creative packing.
Try and do my bit :) Feel free to amend as anyone with more knowledge see's fit.
With 114K and zero history you're going to be looking at £1k tops IMO. Without proof it needs belts doing which adds £500 so you're basically valuing it at £1500 for a 114k mile 172.
Get rid of the tints and...
Seeing as it's been bumped... To back up Yellow Dave's claim my EXH008 mounts have been fitted for circa 15k/1yr now with no issues... including a change of exhaust.
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Gutting. :(
HGF is a sh*tter.
New engine.
Or bin the bodies and get Fred fit a low mileage 225 engine. But that defies the point of having an epic sounding NA.
Personally I have no idea why you'd risk driving it like that, just for the sake of it. For the sake of 15 mins I'd take it off until you can replace it with a new one.
