Even on factory cups they dont all sit straight.
I think stevie wondwer was working on the jig at renault.
Will go out and see what mines like in a bit and update, lol
Yup, and that 10hp makes absolutely no difference either on road or on track.
Lol at this thread!!!
Just get the induction kit that looks pretty, and makes a pretty noise. Wont make much difference otherwise, and dont expect the car to be any quicker with one on.
Looks good so far fella! Like the front and rear lghts, nice without being too chav, good job you didnt go black.
How much is that lowered by? Still looks quite high, maybe its the wheels.
Because that doesnt specify an engine size, or spec. The higher models may have discs fitted at the rear.
Without being funny mate, those discs wont make a shred of difference to your stopping power.
They wont even look that good, just like drum brakes.
If the franchise give you any rubbish, phone renault uk customer services and complain. Usually get further with them.
They might argue that its wear and tear, but argue back that its not fit for purpose, and that it shouldnt fail so early.
Good luck!
If its a track only car an ex cup racer is by far the best option.
If you have a trailer and can put up with lhd it'll wipe the floor with a converted 172...
My mates orange gallardo has dark anthracite wheels. Everyone looks at his silver discs and sighs, you do have a point.
Anyway, why do you want those discs?
Nah they're a normal steel colour fella. Just not as shiny as some. Ive got some on at the moment, look like standard discs with a pattern on tbh.
To answer all of your brake threads in one, get either brembo max, or brembo hc's.
Hc's will look oem, max will offer slightly better fade...
Coilovers £700 (plus £200 if they've been properly set up), seats harnesses etc £1000, cage plus installation £500-£1000.
Dont quote me on those figures, but lol at some of you guys that think building a track car is cheap.
Lol!!! Where do you sell your bits, millionaires row?
Full interior £200 (you cant give the seats away)
Turinis £300
Steering wheel £50 as it will have melted
Springs £20... cup springs £100, are you on crack?
What about that car is not legal fella? Mine passed mot in a similar condition.
Those bits he's taken off a 172 cup are not worth £1500...
Then add the price of coilovers, cage, seats etc etc.
Its worth more than standard if its good.
The coilovers are pretty much the same as h&r's.
Does seem a good price, especially if the cage is fitted properly... but as dan says, id check why half of it is a different colour to the rest.
