Decided today that the cayman needed a decent clean and to try and correct a bit of damage and marks on the bodywork so dug my DA out from the back of the garage that's never been used since I bought it!
Didn't do too badly:
Unfortunately there has been a bit of a coverup of...
The guy on ebay who sells those silly spoilers must be rolling in it…..!
Car looks great, wish I could own one for a bit but out of my price range now :(
That orange one used to be owned by a guy on here, the bloke who painted over the dirty insides of his wheels and polished his exhaust boxes - it is in pretty good condition from what I remember.
Bet he got £2k in px!
Finally going to kit my new house up with my cleaning stuff so I don't have to keep driving to mummys. I've got an outside tap so just need a new hose. Got a pretty good fabric type thing at my mums that doesn't seem to kink much etc, and much easier than a rubber one. Assuming these are the...
Gave the car a bit of love at the weekend whilst I was hungover badly.
Snowfoam, wash, iron x, wash, detar, wash, got bored after that. Also gave the headlights a polish up as they were going a bit like the Clios do.
Loving it to bits but thinking about putting it up for sale to see if...
Stop stealing my thread with your better colour, spec car with epic brakes!!!
I just fancy a bit more noise, love mine to bits but just be nice to have a bit more drama. Hard coming from a V6 with a noisy exhaust.
Bit of an update after using the car for a bit….love it.
Needs a huge clean so I've ordered some new bits from CYC, looking forward to spending a full day and giving it a good polish up and detail. Gave it the first quick scrub today just before it starting raining, hence the s**t pictures...
Needs must dude, not in a good enough financial position for a £20k car sat on the drive doing 1k a year.
Seller dropped the car off to me at work this morning, really nice guy. Wouldn't even accept some money for the taxi to his work!
Couldn't even touch it until 6 tonight when I left work as...
Relief, he's texted me that the funds are cleared and is delivering it to my work tomorrow morning! Couldn't be more helpful!
Not on PH but am aware of it.
Read up on some long threads and decided that I'd risk it, the car uses virtually no oil according to the previous owner, and he wouldn' t...
I paid a bit over £13k for this, on 89k but really well looked after which is more important than miles to me.
I was the same, but need at least another £10k for a Carrera S of the same age/miles over a Cayman. Don't get me wrong if I could afford a 911 without borrowing theres no way I'd have a...
10k limit with HSBC so sent from 2 different accounts. Transfer from the Clio's new owner took literally 3 seconds!
Just got home without the car, he said if it comes tonight he'll happily bring me the car if I'll take him home, failing that tomorrow evening :(
Cheers mate.
Yeah the Carrera wheels look really good on them, much better than the multispokes.
No car will keep me happy long term, but I'm glad of that as I want to own a lot of cars so don't want to be tied down!
(No more snap chats of the M3 please!!)
Didn't take one of the inside yet, but will stick one up when I collect tomorrow. It's identical to a boxster though.
I've never driven a 911, if I did then I would have bought one for sure but too much money for me at the minute.
So today was the final clean of the V6 before it gets collected and over to Ireland tomorrow. The closer it gets the more gutted I am, had a lot of comments on it today whilst cleaning it at my mums and driving it back, most I've ever had I think!
Real shame to see it go but just isn't the...
