It's a proper fitted one, he said it cost him £600 new!
To be fair I might be wrong but would make sense to me with them being very light and fairly consistent on the car.
I know, just need to get to Renault to try and buy one!
Thanks for all the nice comments, does have quite a few marks as the previous owner has used a cover and kept the car outside so needs a good machine polish, but looks mint from 2+ feet away.
I love it!
Woke up slightly hungover and my usual cure is bacon and car cleaning, had a good run in the V6 Sunday afternoon too so was a bit dirty. Will be having a full machine polish to try and get it to 100% perfect (or as good as I'm capable of!) so this was the start with a good clean, deter, iron-X...
Yeah I know what you mean and I did think the same, but I have also always wanted to own a V6, my realistic dream car list was Porsche (although a 911 I wasn't too far off!) M3 and V6, so I've ticked those boxes now which has made me very happy!
I'm hoping to settle down a bit now though, 6...
See your point but it's flawed slightly in my opinion, combined value is around £35k so that's what to base another car on, i.e AMV8. However the Porsche is now sold which was always the plan so that lowers the value down £8k to £27, which is a bit more humble. And I'm not sure what there is for...
Nah, probably a third!
They are certainly awesome!
Thanks dude, it sounds epic!
Possession is 9/10's of the law right?!
Probably not, the last owner has only done 600 miles in it since buying it! Think there's a few localish though.
You too ;)
I think it's probably going to end up...
Haha no time for tyre shine dude! Will get a spanking clean on Monday when I'm hungover!
No worries, assuming it's good news so glad I could help!
thanks ColinG it will be very clean but want to do a couple of thousand a year hopefully, maybe a bit more. Want to enjoy it since I've wanted one...
This car is bat s**t mental! They are so ridiculous to drive its amazing, grin from ear to ear bigger than anything else I've ever driven!
Exhaust isn't standard which makes it sound epic, not stupid loud but the burble and few pops makes it all the better.
Standard garage pic I've done with...
V6 is definitely on, collecting tomorrow after work!
Was tempted Dave but not with those miles…wasn't quite cheap enough I don't think.
It's completely standard mate (although I'm unsure if it has an aftermarket exhaust as it's louder than I thought, in a good way!). Hopefully be keeping this...
It is massively tempting to do this! I might hold off on it until driving a V8V. The V6 is ridiculously special but then I'll have 3 expensive cars to own and run…and I don't quite know how special a V8V is…hmmm.
Did tempt me, but don't want to to be honest!
Porsche : is going.
Jag : never being sold.
Bike : toy.
M3 : daily.
V6 : classic garage queen/toy.
I like having a choice and completely different cars, strange but that's just me!
Only a short test drive today but its hard to describe. They are quicker than I thought and just feel so funny to drive, couldn't stop grinning like a child! The noise and occasion is unreal.
I'll take that as a compliment!
Not quite, this certainly isn;t going to lose money! And I don't lose much on my others as I buy pretty well so it's not the end of the world. I'm lucky I can afford it and not cripple myself, and you're a long time dead so I want to enjoy myself.
Thanks mate...
