think i sorted the tension clip, in that picture i hadn't compressed the piston against the pad yet so there was still a bit of room. should be okay now but ill look tomorrow cheers for pointing it out

Well I have just done my first ever front pads change which makes me extremely happy :) Though I have not put any copper grease on the backing of the new pads, is it essential that I do? Should I go buy some ? Pug 106 btw

I had a look at the main ignition fuses to see whats going on but can't really tell anything , my car is down a narrow drive bonnet facing away so no chance of jump leads, might have to buy a power pack
