You will need to get the colour. I am in the process of getting one from Wests Ren. I thought had a white one, sent him a pic to double check, but the white bit is the casing. I am just being super lazy, need to go and unplug it and have a look underneath to see what colour it is inside lol!

If you do want to spray I'd recommend taking it off personally. If you do mask, make sure it's thorough! I've previously had some very good results with a satin black rattle can from Halfords. Probably could achieve similar results on your lesser spotted "type r sport clio" ;)

Nice upgrade, uber jealous... I'm one of those peasant 1.6x canon shooters! The 5D Mk1 is very appealing and IMO one of the best camera for the money on the second hand market in the canon range.
