Obviously never used a Leica. Also, if I was to buy a Leica, it wouldn't be film. You also seem to have missed my point as to why a Leica would be the ideal camera to use in this situation.

Because for me the ideal camera for shots like this is a Leica ;) I also miss using my dads old film one :(

its an acoustic valve, it makes it quieter when you give it beans. Just take the cap off the airbox and leave the valve plugged as it is.

Remap circa £300 iirc. Speak to Paul at RS tuning. Filter just go for an ITG panel filter with the airbox cap removed (£40-50) OR Buy a smaller battery (£110) an Alluminium ITG airbox with filter (£150sih), silicone elbows etc as required (about another £50) and then do a set up like kevs.

tbh i dont think you really have much choice in the way of aftermarket stuff for none 197s at the moment

Kevo66 has done quite a bit to his. There are no big gains to be had though and I don't think anyone is actually retailing ITBs in the UK at the moment
