Why's that? I leave the M3 running for 5 mins minimum any morning as it runs like a bag of s**t when stone cold. Plus it gives the heated seats time to get toasty in the cold, or the aircon to cool it down in the warm!

That's expensive in my opinion. Get onto M3Cutters as there's plenty of well looked after examples on there...check the buying guide too! Lots of expensive little problems on there, most are easy to spot/sort out.

I don't always have internet access for files though, it's complicated really for what I need and use my laptop for... Haven't got round to ordering one yet, but definately having one! Might wait until I sort my new office out over christmas.

Sorry Tom, I'm being really stupid here. My Macbook has 2 USB's, the Thunderbolt, an ethernet (?) port, and then 1 more. Is this the port you mean? I really want a Thunderbolt but justifying the cost is hard even though I can get it half price...

Well it's for my desk at work so I don't want anything huge. Just cheaper than the thunderbolt! Just to be clear I want this to connect my macbook so I have a bigger screen to work on doing CAD modelling etc...not for watching films/TV etc.

I've got a 2012 13" pro laptop....really want a thunderbolt display for my desk at work but can't justify the £900 it costs, is there a way I can buy a cheaper monitor to use? Is there a way to connect it etc??

Sparkly silver 18's will be back on in the spring; only got these on because they're fitted with winter tyres. Not a fan of the colour either to be honest, but they were cheap.

It's awesome! New bonnet and bootlid needed due to rust and then it's pretty much sorted.
