You'll notice the difference fella. Its more to do with feeling and the delivery of power than the power figures would suggest. As mentioned, 20bhp is a fair bit on a small car.
Have you thought about stripping it out? Fair bit of free power to weight to be gained by doing this.
Leaving the handbrake off is mainly to stop you warping the rear discs i thought?
Worth bleeding them and changing to dot 4 fluid anyways. If you're not confident doing this a garage wouldnt charge much for it.
Anyways, fair play for trying fella. The only way you find things out is by trying and asking, and in a way thats what a forum is for.
As for the brake cooling, if you're serious about doing lots of trackdays, remove the other fog light, and get hold of a second trumpet. Pop to halfords and...
Lol! Mark!
To cool the brakes you need them on both sides, and you need to cut a hole in the inner arch. You then run a length of tubing from the fog surround, through this hole in the arch, to in front of the wheel, to direct cold air at the brakes.
What you've done is doing bugger all...
Seems fine fella. You just have to wait, as theres a lot of RS' for sale at the moment. As said above, it is a buyers market.
If you dont have any luck and need to shift for the evo take offers of £4k for it.
Cant see why there'd be a problem using the stock mate.
From what ive heard, red tops dont hold their charge very well, most that use them carry jump leads just in case...
The clio badge is pinned on fella, will leave holes when you take it off. The RS badges are only stuck on though.
Sometimes i wish id left my car standard, but then i go for a drive and realise why ive done all the things i have to it, and fall in love again.
Yeah, you do need a torx bit for the rears, lol.
A wheel brace should get the two gold bolts out, an then its just the single black torx bit in the centre. 14 or 17 i think guy, cant remember.
First, dont have your mum as the named driver, you need to be the named driver, she can be a 2nd driver on your policy. You also wont get any no claims bonus if you're not the named driver, so insurance will never get cheaper.
Try norwich union, or elephant.
rae1, why are you being so rude?! Good way to get an answer that! lol.
Depends entirely on the fitment.
The oem wheels wont fit, but if you're looking at replicas, if theyre 4x100, and the correct offset, they'll fit.
They will look sh*t on a clio though, as said. Why have something that...
