Stock pads are 'ok' Id go for ds2500's, well worth it on the back roads. Get some new disks (brembo hc are good), braided hoses (this makes a huge difference to pedal feel) and dot 4 fluid.

I make the engine work, brakes and suspension come to 1k, not sure where 5 came from... But anyways, good to see chris' car is going to be used properly mate, hope it gets to lots of trackdays. Lots of time spent on that.

You'd need clio specific recaro subframes mate. The sidemounts would then bolt to these.

No, will need seats, subframes, harnesses. Looking at £400 to do it cheaply, more if you want comfortable seats.

Serious answer... If its for cruising to maccy d's/ looking good, get the 17's. Reckon they'll look out of proportion on the car though. If its for driving/ b-roading/ track days, stick with 16's. And silver looks good on the cups, stick with it.

Get the ones you have refurbed, they will restore them to as new condition. Will cost approx £150 to get all 4 done. If you decide to get new wheels, stick with the 16's as it will look high, handle like a barge, and acceleration will be slower on 17's. That answer all your questions?
