Will make a huge difference to stiffness of the car mate. Cost you a fair bit to get it fully welded in etc so that it does though.

Agreed, cant see the fuss. Also, not wanting dealers to know what mods you've had done? If your car goes in for a service, theyre not stupid, they'll be able to see what mods you've had done.

Nope, in middle of the seats theres the black and gold star key bits next to each other. Gold one stays in, as it slides under it, but the black ones weak as cheese.

Depends if you round off the star key in the middle or not... lol :o

Havnt had tuning done at gdi as such, but a new brake set up fitted, and couldnt fault andy's workmanship/ customer service/ helpfulness. Car will be going back there again.

Id go for anthracite wheels on that colour, in 16", and lower it 60mm. The 182 cup wheels would look good. Few sets in the for sale section on here. 30mm wont look much lowered at all mate. My old extreme on 17" mygales, lowered 60mm.

Aye, all a rolling road is good for is comparing before and after mods have been added, and remaps really. Cant compare different cars on different rollers, or accurately work out whether your cars making book. Bit like using bathroom scales, i can weigh myself on four different sets of...
