all about power then imo and power to weight. dci was 100kg+ over the R26 and even mapped a 205bhp diesel v 270bhp petrol with same torque of 345lbft is no contest. Renault missed the boat with the 175 dci, could have been so much better, but i think they didnt want it to rob the petrol sales...

could well be, cant remember if it had all the extra spoiler jaz on it. thought it had xenons, looks shat without them and the non cornering lights imo.

done 20k miles in mine and even mapped with 343lbft it was still a bit tame, too damned heavy and crappily geared. :rolleyes:

:lolup: shut up. the 318i is a 2.0 143bhp/140lbft. Not amazing and 1435kg to lug around. the 335i is a 3.0 twin turbo with 300bhp/295lbft. Which is much better.
