Not sure why you're comparing power gains to a sport, completely different engines etc so there is no correlation. RS Tuning got an extra 8bhp out of a 1.2 16v I think by remapping it, which is pretty decent, 10% power gain.

They will be 40mm, probably Apex, as it's a sport, lowest springs you can buy.

Prefer the looks of the mk2, plus the fact they are 1/4 the price of a mk1 for something i can build up and make my own! The V6 i think is just amazing, rubbish car in many ways but on pure presence I'm inclined to disagree! 182, get it right ;) As soon as I can insure a V6 at 21 then one...

I understand, he had an RS2000 too, and a mk1 1.3! Even so, to be fair the mk2 is still insane, I've got a mate with a mk2 shell, fully caged with a 20v 4age Corolla engine in, madness! KwikFit are 'fitters' not mechanics, although i'm sure you knew that. Sounds like you know your stuff...
