lol, well the new plate is going straight on my new car, which is why i wanted to know how long I have after purchase to register it on the car. Will be keeping the new car for a long time so dont really need to worry about the change over etc. oh and for the record, plate is going to be R111 SWT

Sorry, as you can probably tell from my first post, it frustrates me the amount of mis-information flung about on here as fact when it comes to audio equipment. People who blow the standard speakers by amping them are probably being over ambitious with the gain, but its not the amount of gain...

When you buy a personal plate from the DVLA how long do you get before it has to be put it on a car?

I'm saying set up correctly a 2 x200 watt amp wont blow his standard speakers. If you knew anything about audio equipment then you would know 99% of speakers blowing is caused by UNDER-amping.

I once got told my plugs where that worn out the garage were surprised they worked. When I asked to see them they couldnt show me so didnt charge me for the new ones :D

Same reason they dont fit all the other performance increasing modifications that people do?

LY owners must have a sense of homour when it comes to plates...
