My point exactly roy. I have a cup, sarah has a 182. Ive driven both hard, and tested the brakes on both hard. With it being dry at the moment, my cup slows down very quickly, with no skidding (just much abuse of my tyres) The 182's abs will kick in if i try and brake in the same manner...

I did this to mine. Arent they meant to come like this? my cup came with 5 turinis though, think the guy befoe me put a spare in the boot... lol.

TDC sensor possibly if not that? When that goes the revs are limited to 2k rpm. Also known as, 'limp mode', as fletch says ^^ May have to take the car in, and tell them the tdc needs replacing, as when mine went they couldnt find it, had to take it back and tell them what to fix! lol

Lol, most insurance companies are the same fella. Im with elephant at the moment, and they've been nothing short of excellent. Good understanding of the cars, all english speaking staff (well welsh but close, hehe) and very cheap to ad mods to the premium.

Sounds daft, but worth going to a carpark at night, and learning how to drift safely/ recover from slides etc. Could save your skin one day!
