I had the same problem. I bought new shocks and cooksport springs. I went from coilovers to those so I never saw where they should be, if at all!

Probably best calling and finding insurance price before selling and buying a new car!

Are the rubber bump stops in place on the shocks?

I've used the bolts it came with on mine and I've had a lot of sets. Just don't touch then when there warm. Wait until cool before undoing and doing up.

I think they never intended to do it anyway. Say they'll do it the "listen to the buyers" that they don't want it then do a u-turn. Now it looks like they listen and could change stuff in the future based on comments. Marketing genius. ;)

Supercharged as I've owned three supercharged 172's. I would be heading north to have Paul at RSTuning doing it though. He knows what he's doing and will keep to a decent timescale.

I had my R32 crashed into and had an Mx5 for a month costing £115 a day and then an Astra Convertible at £130 a day for about 2 months. My insurance premium didn't go up. I argued it wasn't like for like and they didn't care.

I always take it all out of the top as I find it easier. Can do it in two hours so isn't much difference time wise.

I've said before, clutch release bearing. Get it changed as it'll take clutch with it too.
