Nightmare with the pad Neil! Speed 6 is too fast for these those. The instructions say 4800rpm which is roughly speed 4 mate.

Yes. The newest version of the Sigma is a constant F/3.5 too which is better than the 4.5-5.6

Canon don't do a 10-20mm, that would be the Sigma. Canon only do the EF-S 10-22mm.

What cover do you use? Could be like you say, a humidity build up inside the cover. Wrap the body in silica gel packs haha

Rinse it down or snowfoam if you have it available. As Dave said though, i'd give it a quick wash first before you polish it.

I agree. I always prime it first by running water through the lance with the machine turned off, this gets all the air out before pressurising. If you look after them, they'll last years.

If you've got time then do it. If you haven't i wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.

You've got one then. Good luck with it... Get the cambelt booked in with Fred @ BTM, best guy for the job. I'd change all the injectors to the newer 'blue' ones. No point just doing the one. Chances are it still has the original 'brown' ones.
