Yeah, u usually lose approx 500 by trading in, and another 500 by buying from a garage.
But on the plus side its zero hassle!

Running toyo t1r's at the mo and loving them, although seem quite a soft compound, so will see how they last. Handlings fantastic in all weathers, conditions, especially on the edge.
Definately better than the pe2's they replaced imo.

Also, your own car, and your own insurance, will be well worth it in like two years time when you've got no claims. Buy a cheapy, run around in it for a year or so,
far better investment than alloys etc imo.

so to speak, a minor, you have to phone their parents to come pick them up.
As they're from a pikey family, the parents, in my experience,
