I paid £35 at a Canon place in Stoke. I think some places can do a before/after dust comparison as well, to prove that it has been done (might be extra though)
You're lucky it's only the mirror you have attempted to clean tbh.
To clean the actual sensor you have to go in to the settings and do a manual sensor clean which will lock the mirror up, revealing the sensor.
I would advise that you take it to your nearest Canon authorised specialist and get...
Yeah! Come to think of it, i think it was because a few people had disappeared when i went round.

Aye! It was quite dark too so had to up the iso to compensate
The focus control is on the lens that i've used hundreds of times, so i should have known... however my dad used it last so i blame him!
Can do if you want yeah. Need to do some more as i realised after i had got to RSTuning that the lens was on manual focus (i could have swore it was on auto focus when i checked)
Was dark too when we were getting there. Need a sunny day and do it.
