cool, i like a bit of dirt, suits it!
silver takes more time to build up though i think, with mine if i do a 2 miles trip down a country road after i've cleaned it and its dried fully, its noticable dirty and doesnt look like ive cleaned it at all!
yeah was good fun!
was just after christams so there was lots of salt on the roads, plus there was about 40 miles of fun country roads!
i thought of it as adding character.
al, that pic is cool, how long did it take to get that much crap on it?

nah al's car sucked! (not)
its fairly easy to do, clay u just rub over the body work, then rewash, then polish and wax.
i normally do it the weekend before payday because i can't afford to go out!
yeah, i clay mine every couple of months, and polish and wax every month if i can just to keep the paint looking good, and it does look awesome, but then as soon as i pull out of my drive my wheels go back to black and the paint gets covered in crap!
all good fun though i suppose, i bought my...
my 1.2?
if so thanks, its a bit s**t at the minute, bits of damage here and there, 50% lowered, tracking fooked!
i don't know, i like the light blue ones, silver is nice.
i would have a black if the car was a good one, i do love black clios its just the cleaning, depends how picky you are really!
wouldnt get black to be honest mate, a b**ch to keep clean, especially if you don't have time to wax and polish etc on a regular basis.
thats just my opinion though.
no there aren't too many around really, just have to wait to fins a nice one that is what you want.
theres a nice one on...
well on mine, inside the car the handbrake handle had play in it side to side, which i personally never noticed, they failed it on that.
wanted to charge me £90 to tighten up the 2 nuts, which i got another garage to check over, they then tried to charge me for the retest because i took it off...
they can and will, failed mine for a loose handbrake, the actual handle.
a bloke my dad knows used to work for a renault garage near scotland as an MOT tester, a selling point at this dealers was the first MOT free, and he was told to find an MOT failure on 50% of the cars that came in for a...
your paying £950 fully comp with the policy in your name?!
i paid £1800 for 9 months on my first policy, about £1300 next 9 months and then when i renew it should be about £900 for 12 months with 3 points.
im confused at that link brian, just shows some dropdown arrows to pick a towbar for a car?
or is it that when you search clio there isn't one available for a cup?
am i missing something?
you got a private plate on your car (v6)?
you wern't in derby last sunday were you, at MFN?!
might sound stupid but i know there isn't many acid yellows!
what if shorter shocks were being used already, and it was only slightly shorter etc?
just wondering now how my mates cars have been lowered a hell of a lot with chopped springs and shortened shocks and the ride is so much better than my clio which was lowered on just springs
just to confirm, i dont mean chopping some coils and taking some material from the middle then rewelding them together, as that could obviously offer some dangerous stuff,
but i mean just chopping some coils from the top of the spring.
i know loads of drifters who have done this, and...
before you comment i'm not considering this!
but i've been in a bit of an argument about this, is there actually anything dangerous about this?
i always hear people saying never do this etc etc but no-one ever has a reason for which to back themselves up.
are they actually dangerous or is it...
