For gaming, consoles are by far better value for money and as said an easier way of plug-in gaming. If you need a PC for other reasons (like I do) then PC can be a better gaming platform but at a much greater cost.
I've been on it and I've got a quest which just says meet the Captain which I did and is now ticked, but still in my list so I've got a feeling I might need to go back as there is obviously more to it (I didn't get any mission out of it etc)
Thats the only thing i cant work out, its a wood prefab with the staircase in, for some reason though when using it with metal walls its at the wrong height.
Ok so this is mine so far:
Ground floor, Power Armour & Workshop Benches etc
1st floor, man cave / jukebox / file cabinet storage / Bobbleheads etc
2nd floor, beds & tv area
And how I've wired it up, generators out the back wired up to a pylon and then conduits on each level with wall...
I'm level 31 IIRC, picked up another suit of armour this morning, I've got some info I've been going through to gather more but I actually came across it myself.
I'm wondering if you have metal walls (like I do) you can have the generators outside (which obviously seems sensible), then you place conduits on the outside of the walls and connect all the wires up externally, with wall mounted lamps on the inside of the wall it should still work I think, I'm...
Bit of a pain in the arse though as you can't pass wires through walls or floors, so do that basically mean a generator inside on each floor? This is what I'm struggling with at the moment.
On another note, I've got my Bobblehead stand setup :)
You need fusion cores to power the suit, once the core runs out you can't really use the suit anymore. I've got the BOS suit now and about 10 fusion cores at the moment, fatman & 4 mini nukes as well. I'm trying to get on with the 'side' missions but keep getting pulled into the main story.
I'm finding it hard going health wise, power armour is great, but only if you can power it. I made it to diamond city yesterday and am following the main story on from there at the moment, i havent bothered building anything yet.
Jumped straight into it, it seems like a continuation of FO3 for sure, but in some ways its better the devil you know etc and if its plays out just like FO3 but obviously with different missions etc that's fine by me, anything else is a bonus.
