Surely they will have the car on record or should have marked the service book to prove it has been done.
In regards to the letter been sent out as mentioned already I dont think she received anything.
One of my colleagues at work has been hit by the dreaded bonnet disaster.
It appears the car has never been into Renault for a re-call when this all came to light.
The bonnet has opened and has bent all the way back, thankfully only damaging the bonnet not the windscreen.
