Maybe we could drive up together in both of our non-sports lol. I like the mrk 3, would get one if i could but just too expensive for me at the mo. I'd say stick with your mk2 for the mo, then upgrade after like another year when the price comes down a bit

I had this problem recently... Apparantly if it is on the car and it doesn't work then it will fail. However... If it isn't on the car then it doesn't have to work. I just took my light out and covered the gap with duct tape, passed it's MOT with no advisories. Then the new spoiler and brake...

I'm sure it's the same as my 1.2, and it's pretty easy, i did mine recently. They holder twists until it is vertical then it can be taken out. Changing the bulb is easy, then you just have to put back in and twist it back into place
