It the Tps value been set for 0% and 100%? it could be trying to add fuel if it's seeing throttle value when it should be?

You need the torque bearing mount that attaches to the back of the block, the shaft sits into that and the support bearing in that

Vvt solenoid seal is also common, it's around £15 from renault and just pushes in if you wanted to replace that too

looks like the front of the cam cover could be leaking, if your cambelt isnt due, id just clean it up and keep an eye on it.

My rack has play in it so need a new rack and was just going to switch back to the manual column, save some weight instead of the motor being there, with the car not being used much as of next year I want the most feel and best response I can get

I'm considering removing my EPAS and running no pas at all, what would be the best rack for this?

Took the car up to the hartside meet today with the North East lot, first time I've ever drove that road and it was great fun. Few niggles to sort on the ph1 but it was going well for its first proper good run out.

Got the car back its all sweet, got my cup shocks from clio turbo and along with the cooksport springs they have transformed the car, really nice to drive and a lot better ride than the k-tec coilovers. Hopefully get to give it a good blast out this weekend if it dry's up

you can remove the star clip and remove the butterfly itself then the shaft and the spring will come out, did you replace the star clip? if this isnt tight ive seen it allow lateral movement of the shaft causing the butterfly to stick?

Just to settle this, it was a wiring fault in the look leading to the lambda, causing a short. Hope this may help someone in the future. KT
