No i agree, tyres are 'pretty fundamental!' but the T1R's are fine, good enough for 8min 51 around the ring and 64sec around knockhill so can't be that shabby!
Each to their own. I like my hair smart and styled, you like it flopping over your face and gel'd with manfat! x
Still the best looking RS made (Bar the vee). I wanted so badly to like it and on the odd day i did! Even if it felt that it was trying to kill me everytime i drove it!
It wasn't that bad, i think if you had exposure to the mk1 prior to owning a newer RS you were in a better mindset. To me it...
Non progressive, wtf is that meant to mean!
And the yoko's are softer than the Toyo's and worse in the wet.
Stick to the detailing section or Puma advice son!
TBH, i've stopped taking advice from people. I bought Vredesteins for the BM after everyone was raving about them and Magazines too...My overall opinion is....There Naff.
At the end of the day, i tried PE2's, ZV3's, T1S/T1R's on the 172 With exception to the Avon's there was nowt in it. The...
You do talk some serious drivel wee guy!
Nowt wrong with T1R's, not the greatest in the wet, but don't drive like a dick and you won't have a problem. No issue with Braking performance in the wet before that gets raised. Never tried the RS2's although i beleive Shilpa Shetty rates them highly.
205 Gti's look pisch compared to the willy. Never liked them.
To be fair, mine was no more of a dog than most. For a car on 98k the following broke:
A caliper, a box, downpipe (By choice) rusty bits, paint, alarm (Aftermarket) a wheel refurb...it was a 15year old car at the end of the day...
lol! Awesome thread. Dunno, the cup is probably the best looking, the 182 is probably the best to drive, but i'm so sick of seeing them that i actually prefer the ph1 172?! Fcuk knows why?!
LOL! - No doubt on some level that's correct but really wtf!! I doubt even a racing driver would consider the implications of gyroscopics and spinning tops!! It's all about feel and 17's feel better than 15's, much like the 19's feel better than the 18's.
